Acquisition

Definición:

An acquisition occurs when a company purchases most or all the shares of another company to control it. Buying more than 50% of a company’s shares and other assets allows the buyer to make decisions about assets without the approval of the company’s other shareholders. In this process, there is usually a buy-out clause.
